After recently announcing that Engineering HR was looking for a new owner, we have decided to take the next step and discontinue the platform. Engineering HR will be taken offline within the next two weeks.
Engineering HR has been online as a job platform for engineering professionals and employers, but unfortunately, despite our recent attempt to find a new owner who could take the platform forward, there was insufficient interest to continue its operation under new ownership.
Engineering HR never reached its full potential
While Science HR successfully took off, following in the footsteps of our first platform, Life Science Network, its engineering sibling never reached the same level of activity. Unfortunately, we also never properly pursued Engineering HR or invested the necessary time and resources to market the platform.
Rather than keep a platform online without a clear path forward, we have therefore decided to bring Engineering HR to a close.
Engineering and technology jobs will continue on Science HR
The good news is that engineering will not disappear from our job offering. Science HR has always had a broader focus that includes not only science, but also technology and engineering, and we expect that most engineering-related job opportunities will continue to be featured there.
Anyone interested in engineering, technology and science jobs is therefore invited to create a profile on Science HR and continue using the platform for their career or recruitment needs.
The same account can be used
Science HR and Engineering HR share the same user database, so existing Engineering HR users can use their current credentials to log in to Science HR and create their profile there.
Following the shutdown, we may also migrate some existing Engineering HR users to Science HR where appropriate. Users will remain able to manage or delete their account and profile.
Please back up any information you need
Engineering HR will be taken offline within the next two weeks. If you have any information on the platform that you may need in the future, including job postings or other content associated with your account, please make sure to download or otherwise back it up before the platform is shut down.
Once the platform is taken offline, this information may no longer be accessible.
The engineering.hr domain is available
With the closure of the platform, the engineering.hr domain is now available for sale. Anyone interested in acquiring the domain or discussing its future use can get in touch with us.
We would like to thank everyone who used Engineering HR, whether as a job seeker, employer or visitor, and especially those who supported the platform over the years.
Science HR continues its normal operation, and we look forward to continuing to build a platform that brings together opportunities across science, technology and engineering.
