Scientific Today is getting a complete infrastructure upgrade to become faster, more reliable, and part of our wider scientific platform network. Here's what you need to know.
Dear Scientific Today community,
We would like to inform all users and visitors that Scientific Today (scientific.today) will soon undergo a major platform upgrade.
This is not simply a visual redesign. We are rebuilding the platform's underlying infrastructure, including its database architecture and core codebase, to provide a faster, more stable, and more reliable experience. Following this transition, Scientific Today will become part of our main family of applications, which also includes:
- Life Science Network (lifescience.net)
- Science HR (science.hr)
- Engineering HR (engineering.hr)
- Science Events (sci.events)
This upgrade establishes a stronger technological foundation and supports the long-term development of our platform ecosystem.
Important Information Regarding Data and Accounts
Our primary focus during this transition is the successful implementation of the new infrastructure. Due to the scope of these changes:
- Only selected data will be transferred to the new system.
- Most existing content will not be migrated.
- User accounts will not be available in the new system initially.
- We strongly encourage all users to create local backups of any content they wish to preserve.
Once the upgraded platform is launched, you may find that your previous login credentials no longer work. If signing in is not successful, it means that your account is not available in the new system. In that case, please register again to continue using Scientific Today. Any future updates regarding account migration will be communicated separately.
Moving Forward
This transition represents an important step in strengthening Scientific Today and aligning it with our broader network of scientific platforms. We are confident the new version will provide a significantly improved experience for all users and visitors.
If you have any questions regarding the upcoming changes, please contact us at [email protected].
We appreciate your understanding and continued support.
