The Faculty of Economics wishes to appoint a full time Finance Coordinator. The role will be based in the Faculty of Economics but will work as part of a wider team based across Economics and History.

The Faculty of Economics at the University of Cambridge is one of the leading and longest standing economics faculties in Europe. Working as part of an established accounts team, you will undertake the administration of accounts and maintain financial records within the Faculty of Economics in order to provide a high-quality accounting function, and ensure the Faculty remains compliant with the University's financial regulations, and adheres to University financial procedures at all times.

This is a varied role with a wide range of accounting administration responsibilities being undertaken. You will be responsible for coordinating and administration of financial information and services in order to contribute to the management of the Faculty's finances and resources. You will ensure the prompt and accurate provision of accounting information and guidance to support the Senior Finance Coordinator, Faculty Chair and budget holders.

You should have experience in a similar accounts position and be able to demonstrate confidence using Microsoft Office and financial software and reporting tools. You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be flexible and adaptable in your approach to work. You will possess the ability to prioritise efficiently and meet rigid deadlines on a regular basis. You will posses strong people skills and an ability to work as a team. You will be fully qualified with an Accounting/Financial AAT (professional diploma).
