Connecticut residents put novel democratic model to the test

The Connecticut Citizens’ Assembly on Property Taxes, designed and supervised by Yale political scientist Hélène Landemore, is made up of 100 randomly selected residents. Their proposed solutions to one of the state’s most pressing issues will later be presented to the state legislature.
