Cancer drug reduces inflammation and buildup in arteries

In a new study, Yale researchers find that a preexisting cancer drug may also offer a promising therapeutic avenue for atherosclerosis, a common trigger of heart attack and stroke caused by inflammation and plaque buildup in arteries.
