During the parliamentary summer recess, Members of the German Bundestag Ayşe Asar, Linda Heitmann and Dr Andrea Lübcke took the opportunity to learn more about research infrastructure at first hand. On 1 September, they visited Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron DESY, a Helmholtz research centre, gaining insights into current research projects, major research facilities and the innovation ecosystem on the DESY campus.
