The Department of Public Health and Primary Care in Cambridge is seeking a PhD Administrator who will provide essential administrative support to the BHF 4-Year Multidisciplinary PhD Programme in Cardiovascular Research.
The role holder will also assist with administration for the Department's other PhD programme and studentships when required. The role focuses on organising and maintaining records, coordinating routine activities, supporting meetings, recruitment and events and ensuring the programme runs smoothly and efficiently. They will be responsible for managing the admissions process and programme lifecycle acting as a first point of contact for PhD Students in the department.
We are looking for someone who:
Is educated to GCSE standard including English and Mathematics (or hold equivalent qualifications) or have equivalent experience.
Has excellent organisational skills.
Is confident using standard IT systems (email, Word, Excel, online meetings) and management of databases and editing websites
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience of working with the University administration and finance system (CAMSIS) would be desirable.

This is a part-time 0.4 FTE post.
