California’s slow ballot count makes it a target for critics. It doesn’t mean elections are rigged — and more UCLA media

The Associated Press reported that some experts warned the count from Tuesday’s California primary might take even longer than after previous elections. “What compounds things this time around is that Democrats have been holding on to their ballots,” said Rick Hasen, a UCLA law professor.
