The role

An opportunity has arisen to join the Finance Team at Cambridge University Libraries and Archives (CULA) as a Finance Assistant. Reporting into the Finance Lead, you will work closely with all members of the Finance team, undertaking transaction processing and providing administrative support.

As a Finance Assistant you will

  • Provide accounts payable and accounts receivable support to our colleagues in CULA.
  • Be responsible for banking income received.
  • Assist with the running of both month end and year end processes.
  • Act as a contact for our CULA colleagues for accounting enquiries.
  • Monitor stationery stock levels, ordering and distributing stationery as required.
  • What we are looking for

  • Experience of working in an accounts environment.
  • Experience of using standard Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative approach.
