CBC News spoke with UCLA’s Chris Mattmann about Los Angeles mayoral hopeful Spencer Pratt and how AI has contributed to his campaign. Mattmann, UCLA’s chief data and artificial intelligence officer, says that the effectiveness of the Pratt ads are in part due to the way AI technology has evolved just in the past few years. “It’s very realistic.
